Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We develop custom visuals using the official Microsoft Power BI SDK in React and D3.js. We package them into .pbiviz files that integrate natively into your reports and are ready to be imported or published to Microsoft AppSource.

It depends on the scope and the quality of the source data. An executive dashboard with a single clean data source usually takes 2 to 4 weeks; projects with multiple sources, complex data modeling, or migration from Excel to a data warehouse can take 6 to 12 weeks. We define the exact timeline in the initial proposal, after the free consulting session.

Yes. We integrate Power BI with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), ERPs (SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics), CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), REST APIs, and flat files (Excel, CSV, SharePoint). When sources are heterogeneous, we first recommend an ETL process into a data warehouse to guarantee consistency and reporting performance.

Yes, every Power BI implementation includes a knowledge-transfer session with your internal team: how to refresh data, edit visuals, manage row-level security (RLS) permissions, and resolve basic DAX questions. The goal is for your organization to gain autonomy instead of depending on us for minor changes.

Yes. For organizations with large data volumes, frequent refreshes, or enterprise-level data governance needs, we design architectures on Power BI Premium and Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, OneLake), optimizing semantic model performance and load times.

Not necessarily. We build both in traditional commercial suites (such as UiPath or Power Automate) and in open-source frameworks (Python, Selenium, Playwright) that completely eliminate recurring bot licensing costs.

The best candidates are repetitive, rule-based processes with high volume and structured data: accounting reconciliations, invoice uploads, recurring report generation, data migration between systems, purchase order processing, and manual validations. During the diagnostic phase we identify and prioritize these processes by expected ROI.

A bot for a medium-complexity process (2-3 systems, moderate business rules) is typically in production within 3 to 6 weeks, including process discovery, development, testing, and stabilization. Simpler processes can be ready in under 2 weeks.

Interface changes are the main risk of any RPA automation. That is why we build bots with robust selectors (not just screen coordinates) and offer maintenance contracts that include adjustments when automated systems change versions, minimizing bot downtime.

Yes. We integrate RPA with IDP (Intelligent Document Processing) to read invoices, contracts, and unstructured forms, with OCR to digitize scanned documents, and with NLP models to automatically classify emails, tickets, or requests before the bot executes the corresponding action.

Yes. We design and develop custom software end-to-end: web applications, cross-platform mobile apps (iOS and Android from a single codebase), and desktop systems, tailored to your business processes instead of forcing your operation into generic software.

We work with agile methodologies (a Scrum/Kanban hybrid), with 1-2 week sprints, incremental functional deliveries, and regular check-in meetings. This gives you continuous visibility into progress and the ability to adjust priorities without waiting until the end of the project.

Yes, entirely. Once the project is completed and agreed payments are settled, the intellectual property of the source code, technical documentation, and developed assets is fully transferred to your company. You do not depend on us to operate or modify the software in the future.

Yes. We have experience integrating new developments with ERP systems, accounting software, and legacy databases through APIs, custom connectors, or middleware layers, avoiding costly replacements of infrastructure that already works for your operation.

Yes. We build conversational agents and generative AI connected to your knowledge base, CRM, or ERP, capable of answering customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, or escalating cases to a human agent, all integrated into the channels your company already uses (WhatsApp, web, email).

We start with a free technical consulting session to understand your business challenges, available data, and strategic objectives. Then, we formulate a detailed proposal with suggested software architecture, milestones, and transparent costs.

Cost varies depending on scope: a single dashboard is not the same as a full platform with automations and integrations. We do not use generic rate cards because every project is different; during the free consulting session we assess your needs and deliver a detailed, transparent quote with no hidden costs.

We offer all three models depending on the type of project: fixed pricing for well-defined scopes (a dashboard, a bot, a specific module), hour bundles for flexible support, and monthly retainers for clients who need ongoing development and continuous improvement.

Yes. Although we are based in Colombia, we work remotely with clients throughout Latin America, the United States, and Spain, coordinating meeting times around your time zone and communicating in Spanish, English, Portuguese, or French as needed.

Yes, and we recommend it for broad-scope projects. An MVP (minimum viable product) or a scoped-down pilot lets you validate the technical approach, the quality of our work, and the fit with your team before investing in full development.

Security and confidentiality are our core pillars. We sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) before reviewing any databases. We implement data encryption in transit and at rest, and adhere to international cybersecurity best practices.

It depends on your preference: we can work on your own cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) or propose hosting managed by us under enterprise security standards. In no case is your data shared with third parties or used outside the scope defined in the contract.

Yes. Our data-handling processes are aligned with Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 on personal data protection and with principles equivalent to the European GDPR (data minimization, consent, right to access and deletion), which is especially relevant for clients with international operations.

Only the technical team specifically assigned to your project, under individual non-disclosure agreements. We use role-based access control, development environments separated from production, and, whenever possible, work with anonymized or test data during the initial phases.

When the contract ends, we revoke all access granted to your systems, deliver or delete (as you define) any data copies used during the project, and document the formal closure of access. This is explicitly stipulated in our confidentiality agreements.

All our developments and implementations come with a stability warranty and post-deployment technical support. Additionally, we offer monthly support and continuous improvement agreements (SLAs) tailored to your operation's criticality.

A typical support contract includes: bug and incident fixes, guaranteed response times based on criticality, minor updates, monitoring of dashboard or bot performance, and an hour bundle for continuous improvements. The exact scope is tailored to each client and documented in the service agreement.

For critical incidents that halt operations (for example, an RPA bot down in a financial process), our standard commitment is to begin attending to it within business hours of the same working day. Exact response and resolution times are defined contractually based on each system's criticality level.

That is completely normal and expected: businesses evolve, and software should evolve with them. New feature requests are quoted as additional scope or deducted from your support hour bundle, depending on the active contract, with no need to start a new procurement process from scratch.

Yes, for clients with an active support contract. We set up automated alerts on dashboard status, data refreshes, and bot execution, so we can detect and resolve silent failures (such as a failed data refresh) before the end user notices.
